Travel & Leisure Diaries in Pictures

Temperature is dropping each day so today I had to harvest the last veggies from my little garden.   I love the idea that when I need veggies and herbs I just go pick it from my garden.  But now winter is coming so no garden.  I will have to wait at least 6 months to plant. The geese at the left of the picture are getting ready to fly away.  They make our waterfront their personal flightline. Sparty loves to just chill and patiently wait for me! Even my crab cages is clean and put away for winter.  No crabbing!                                    

Our second Thanksgiving dinner this year!   First one was spent at our neigbhor's house.  It was really nice of them to invite us.

Nov 11, 2016  Forth Worth, Texas.   Whenever we are in Texas and if we have time we come to this place, the Forth Worth Stockyards.   We like the old western look and feel of the town and the saloons. We traveled to Texas on election day.  The next morning this newpaper was displayed in our hotel front desk. Nice photo with the silouette.   Memorial area in Dyess, AFB has no flags.  We tweeted them on why there were no flags on the poles on Veteran's Day but they did not reply. Oct. 2016  This is our second time attending this event.  The last time though we went to the Harbour and watched from there.  At this event, we took our boat to the other side of Baltimore.   It is not a fun experience when the water is not very calm and you just want to relax.     Sparty wasn't too happy being on the boat.  It was rough for him because the water wasn't calm.

Fall is here indeed!  Leaves are slowly falling and changing colors.   I wanted to do my clean up before the hurricane came and took some pictures of my plants.  Plum Tree  I don't know what this big leaf plant is.  If you know the name, message me or comment.   These guys were in the yard. Eggplants  Taro plants.  Hot Jalapenos   My spices: Rosemary, Sweet Basil and one other I can't remember the name. Loved these purplelish colors!
